While Veronica walks through a hallway of her home, where she has lived her entire life, she is repeatedly confronted with objects that evoke painful memories of her traumatic past with her mother. These memories catapult her back into the past and force her to relive one of her traumatic experiences.
The short film "Scars" powerfully conveys to the viewer how profound and long-lasting the effects of domestic violence can be. Through Veronica's story, it becomes clear that the emotional scars and psychological burdens that arise from such experiences often last a lifetime. The viewers are taken on an exciting, eerie, and moving journey that they won't soon forget.
